A bank with a friendly atmosphere and staff that often know the names of the customers who pass through their doors. Would be a five star rating, but the opening hours are a little bizarre and often the wait for service is excessive.
Don't come here unless you are willing to wait a long time.

When I came here with 60 kids from the US, we had travelers checks that we needed to cash in for pounds. This was always the bank I'd come to when I needed to cash in the checks. For a team that large and the amount of money we were getting, we would get the best exchange rate and lowest fees for our usage. The tellers were also some of the most patient and pleasant people I have ever encountered. Do you know the kind of pain I put them through to get ~4,000 pounds withdrawn with specific increments of money needed once a week for 5 weeks in a row. They were fantastic. I came to Dunoon in 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 with Greg Speck and his Grey team with Royal Servants.

Very efficient and amazing staff. Other hospitals can learn from here
It's a hospital. If you're sick and need urgent help, it's definitely the place to go. If you're not sick, it's probably a place to avoid. You won't have an unreasonably long wait in A&E - seldom more than twenty minutes, often less than ten, and the staff are professional. The only thing that lets the hospital down for me is their dental suite. I've been waiting two and a half years for an appointment and keep getting told that they don't have any dentists working there, so they'd be better off shutting it down and using the space for services they actually can provide.

In 2005, we had a team of 60 people stay in this facility. The church was gracious enough to allow us to use their sanctuary and rooms to sleep in while we used the tea room's restrooms downstairs, as long as we cleaned up each day. The tearoom was still in business during the day, so we used it, cleaned up and cleaned out each day. It was terrific! I came to Dunoon in 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 with Greg Speck and his Grey team with Royal Servants.

Year another great meal. I had the prawn salad bowl which was delicious and the prawns were big and succulent. Always great service and lovely chilled atmosphere to eat. Will be returning.again and again... My favourite place to eat in town
Decent food at reasonable prices. The staff found us a table even though we had not booked and they were very busy that night. Worth a visit but suggest making a reservation.

Delicious food, good value for money. Only tempered by the fact that my preferred choice, the chowder was off the menu that evening. Still, the seafood platter starter and the lobster macaroni cheese were gorgeous!
Lovely food, great atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. Well worth a visit
