Our local cinema has improved over the past year or so, it used to be drafty but now it's not too cold, the film's they show are kept more up-to-date than they used to be. Staff are friendly. You can collect points and they offer deals like 2-4-1 on Mondays.
Very pleasant staff . Excellent to have the latest Films .

Hello, we would like to say just how much we enjoyed our holiday at the Selborne hotel last week. We thought the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel very clean an tidy. Restaurant was excellent in all respects, the waiter service at breakfast times a big plus as we don’t like the self service style. The young waiter and waiteres were excellent very helpful and friendly at all times. Our bedroom (129) was also excellent, very cleans and well serviced. The manager and office staff were very polite indeed. We hope to go again soon as this was our 2nd visit the last one was September 4 years ago. The driver “STEVE” was excellent and helpful and friendly. So many thanks indeed for a great holiday.
Lovely position in town right by the river with lovely views across the Clyde. Needs a little updating and suits coach parties and a more mature clientele! Clean reasonably priced hotel with good food. 3 course evening meal £12 when booked online through leasureplex. Staff are wonderful very helpful and attentive. This is our second visit to this hotel and it won't be our last. We think it's great value.

I return to the Royal Marine Hotel when in Dunoon due to the owners focus on ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The energy, care and genuine personal warmth from Dylan and Richard and their equally wonderful staff team creates a relaxed and homely feel. Their continued long hours of work dedicated to the ongoing development of the impressive listed building is admirable. I have enjoyed extremely pleasurable nights in many of the rooms. The beds are both comfortable and robust, the new thick carpets provide luxurious cushioning and the balcony view over the flowing sea is impressive. The standard of housekeeping and catering is high and the chef was even happy to prepare my favourite carrot dish on request. I am looking forward to my next visit to the friendliest hotel in the country
Two night stay in a fabulous old building. Richard and Dillon and their small army of helpers have a massive task ahead to bring this old lady back to her glamorous past but they have made a grand start. Friendly staff, good value and pet friendly too. We are going to have to go back to see how the work progresses. This is the first building you see when the western ferry docks, so come on Dunoon, get behind these guys and their project.
